The Cross River Internal has declared that electronic receipts (e-receipts) issued through its collection portal, www.crossriverpay.com are now the final and conclusive evidence of payment for all state transactions. This update, emphasizes the reliability and security of the digital system, urging citizens and businesses to adopt the platform for seamless revenue processes.
The Executive Chairman of the Service, Prince Edwin Okon, PhD, reiterated that every e-receipt contains a unique QR code and reference number that can be instantly verified online. This measure eliminates the risks associated with manual receipts, such as forgery and loss, while promoting transparency in government revenue collection. The portal, accessible via www.crirs.ng, allows users to validate payments in real time, enhancing trust between the government and taxpayers.

CRIRS assured the public of continuous system upgrades to ensure efficiency and user-friendliness.
